How much does Sell Files Online cost?
Sell Files Online charges 1% of the orders (in addition to any fees Stripe fees) for which it delivers the downloads. When you configure a Stripe product to deliver files to your customers, we will add additional fees (1% of the order price) in Stripe.
Sell Files Online requires no monthly subscription/commitment, no credit card numbers, and no payments from you. It means you can set up as many products you like, for free.
What kind of file can I upload?
Sell Files Online uses Google Drive for files storage. That way you can manage the files you sell from a convenient interface that you already use.
You can sell any kind of file under 1 GIB that you can upload to your Google Drive account.
If you edit the file on Google Drive, it will be automatically updated for your customers.
How do you ensure my file is not shared with others?
The Google Drive link is never shared with your customers. Instead, each time your customers use the special we send them, their download is protected by our servers.
We log the last time they downloaded a file and the number of times they did so This information is stored on your Stripe Account, under “Metadata”. To find this information, navigate to the “Payments” section in Stripe, and choose the particular payment. When you scroll down, you will be able to see how many times a particular file has been downloaded:
